How do I receive the plans?

Instantly and automatically. After payment your download links appear on screen and are emailed to you. (This replaces the manual email delivery of the old site — by far the #1 complaint back then. It’s fixed for good.)

I bought plans on the old site and lost them. Can you help?

Yes — and you won’t need to dig up a receipt from years ago. We have no access to the old site’s order history, so restoration runs on trust: go to the Restore a purchase page: confirm on your honour and your returning-customer code (about half off) appears, valid on the current edition of any plan — updated files, instant delivery, and permanent re-download from your new receipt. Word of a woodworker is enough for us.

Do I need SketchUp? Is it paid?

No paid software needed. The 3D model opens in the free SketchUp viewer; the PDF manual opens anywhere.

Are the plans metric or imperial?

Metric, with imperial adaptations and directions. The MFSC additionally exists in an English-USA version using imperial sheet thicknesses. Thousands have been built on both systems — see our guide.

My templates printed at the wrong size.

Print at full size / 100% scale, never “fit to page”. Reference dimensions are printed on each template: measure them after printing to confirm.

What materials and budget for the MFTC?

Roughly one sheet of 12 mm plywood, an MDF top, some solid wood and common hardware — builders report ≈ €150 / $170 and about two weekends.

Do I need Festool tools?

No. The designs are compatible with the MFT/Systainer ecosystem (hole pattern, heights, drawer sizing) but build fine with any brand’s track saw, router and drill. “Festool”, “MFT”, “Systainer” and “T-LOC” are trademarks of their owners; we are not affiliated.

Can I get an invoice with VAT?

Yes — checkout is handled by Lemon Squeezy (merchant of record). Enter your business details and VAT number at checkout; taxes are computed automatically for your country.

What’s the refund policy on digital files?

Digital plans can’t be “returned”, so all sales are final once downloaded — but if a file is corrupt, incomplete or not as described, write to us and we’ll make it right. See Terms.

Can I build and sell the furniture/benches?

You can build unlimited units for yourself or your business. You may not resell or share the plan files themselves. Full license in Terms & License.

Wheels feel heavy to tip on my MFTC?

Known community tweak: with an 18 mm top, slightly larger wheels set further back make tipping easier. Build as drawn first, adjust if needed.
