What it does
- Locks onto Systainers (classic and T-LOC) — roll in with your stack, click the MFTB on top, and you have a bench at standing height.
- MFT-style top with a centre groove that doubles as a carrying handle; drop small bits through the holes instead of losing them on the floor.
- Storage inside for hand tools, hardware and everything you want within reach — and you can open the lid even with work clamped on top.
- Front clamping surface with MFT clamps as a board rest.
- Three sizes — MFTB-1, MFTB-2, MFTB-4 (matching Systainer 1 / 2 / 4 heights). Bigger = more storage and a taller clamping face.
- Hackable: the community has turned MFTBs into portable router tables, jigsaw tables — even a living-room table.
Engineered light
The first prototype (MDF + beech) was rock solid but too heavy to carry. The production design uses a plywood and pine body with an MDF + beech top where the wear happens — light enough to carry, tough where it counts.
